To give every driving instructor in the UK the tools they need to run their business professionally and efficiently. We want instructors to spend less time on admin and more time doing what they do best — teaching people to drive safely.

PassRate is designed around the DVSA competency framework, so everything you track in the app maps directly to what examiners assess on test day. Your pupils get a clear picture of their progress, and you get the data you need to make confident decisions about test readiness.

Most driving instructors we spoke to were running their entire business on a combination of WhatsApp, a paper diary, and a spreadsheet they'd been meaning to update since 2019. Pupil records were scattered across different apps. Payments were a constant source of friction. And nobody had a clear view of which pupils were actually ready for their test.

We set out to build the tool we wished existed: one place for pupils, lessons, competencies, and payments — designed specifically for UK driving instructors, aligned with the DVSA framework, and simple enough to use between lessons on a phone.
